The new Boots store in St Stephen’s Shopping Centre has opened today (15 May 2019). The new look store is on one floor to provide easier accessibility, and will offer a number of new beauty brands including Fenty Beauty, Nude by Nature, bareMinerals and Benefit.

The Boots Hull store is one of 24 stores to be part of Boots UK’s ‘Beauty Reinvention’ transformation programme, which will see Boots become the first premium high street retailer to remove traditional beauty counters and replace them with trending zones, discovery areas, and live demonstration areas. Customers will be able to browse and play with all the latest products and cult classics.

To complement its existing brand experts, Boots in Hull will also introduce new Boots Beauty Specialists, in response to beauty shoppers wanting to find unique beauty solutions across many brands, rather than one-brand solutions. Our new Beauty Specialists will be in the Hull store and these beauty fanatics will be on hand to help customers achieve their goals of looking and feeling great, inside and out.

A variety of health services will also be available in the store, including an in-house optician and a HearingCare centre. For the convenience of customers, the store will also be offering baby changing facilities and wheelchair access.

The new store is located in St Stephen’s Shopping Centre, next to a train station and with a bus route nearby.

Kirsty Cook, Store Manager, Boots Hull, said: “We are very excited to welcome customers into our new and improved Hull store, which will introduce more beauty brands and provide new health services, all on one floor.

“The new store has created eight new jobs, so not only are we looking after the health of the community, we are also having a positive impact on the local economy.”

Marie Wilson, Area Manager, Boots UK, said: “Boots has been in Hull for 116 years and this new store brings to life our new vision for beauty at Boots, as part of our exciting plans to develop our stores to meet the changing needs of customers today. We’re really looking forward to seeing our customers enjoy this new offering, and all the great new beauty brands we are introducing.”

Jim Harris, Centre Manager, St Stephen’s Shopping Centre said: “We’re always looking for exciting brands to bring to St Stephen’s and the new flagship Boots store is a perfect fit. With its outstanding range of health and beauty brands, I’m sure it will be a popular choice among our shoppers.”

The new store will officially open at 8.30am with a ribbon cutting with Boots colleagues, Richard Stead, Boots Head of Customer Experience for Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, and Ghada Beal, Director of Stores for the North. The first 100 customers through the door will receive free goodie bags that include a selection of exciting new products.
