Today, Boots Opticians opened its brand new practice for the people of Cleveleys and held a ribbon cutting event to mark the occasion. Despite only having moved a few doors up the road, the new practice offers an entirely new and improved healthcare experience for the local community.

With a real focus on helping families to feel in control of their health, the spacious practice now provides Boots Hearingcare services and offers an extended number of testing rooms for both eyes and ears, including a consultation room dedicated to contact lens services.

The new practice also has improved access, including a brand new entrance specifically designed for wheelchair access. And that is not all that’s new – the relocation of the practice has created roles for three new colleagues!

Officially opening the practice alongside Boots Opticians Managing Director, Jonathan Gardner and Mayor of Wyre, Councillor Alice Collinson, were Erica and Olivia Fairbairn who have been visiting Boots Opticians on Victoria Road West since 2003. Erica brought daughter Olivia to Boots Opticians for her first eye check when she was just six years old, and now aged 19, Olivia continues to come to the practice for both her glasses and contact lenses.

Matthew Hulse, Practice Manager, Boots Opticians Cleveleys, said “We’re thrilled to offer a wider range of services, and provide even better care for the local community. The practice has been serving the people of Cleveleys for nearly 50 years, and we look forward to helping our customers and patients for many years to come.”
