Boots is Named Top Retail Brand in YouGov BrandIndex Women’s Choice Best Brand Rankings

YouGov has published its annual BrandIndex Women’s Choice Best Brand Rankings, which shows which brands are held in highest esteem. Boots was ranked second overall and was the highest ranking retail brand, scoring an impressive 52.9.

The rankings are compiled by asking consumers “Overall, of which of the following brands do you have positive/negative impressions?” Scores are net scores, calculated by subtracting the percentage of negative responses from the percentage of positive responses for each brand.

Boots beat IKEA, John Lewis and Marks and Spencer to be named second in the survey, from scores averaged across 1st February 2018 – 31st January 2019, among women aged 18+.
