Boots and No7 Beauty Company is delighted to announce that it has won in four categories at the inaugural GenM Menopause Awards

As an accredited Menopause Friendly Employer, Boots and No7 has this year committed to breaking the taboos surrounding menopause, with the efforts being recognised in wins in four GenM award categories:

Best Menopause Signposting: Rewarding the most impactful signposting, this award recognises the Menopause Hub on boots.com that was launched in 2021. Filtered by symptom, the Hub makes finding products, services and advice even more accessible for our customers and patients.

Break the Stigma: Recognising the most impactful activity that normalises the conversation around the menopause, this award recognises the launch of the Taboo Talk podcast (with a dedicated Menopause episode),and how Boots became the official partner of This Morning’s menopause campaign, supporting its Menopause Bus tour.

Collective Power: Celebrating GenM’s Partners, Boots and No7 Beauty Company won this award for supporting menopause awareness campaigns, giving team members the opportunity to claim back the cost of NHS Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) prescriptions, developing menopause awareness eLearning, and empowering team members to join a Menopause Network through an internal Business Resource Group.

Founder Award: A prestigious award chosen by GenM Founders, given to an outstanding Partner that has made a tremendous contribution towards improving the menopause experience and normalising the conversation.

Reflecting on the award win, Helen Jeremiah, Marketing Director at Boots UK, said: “As the leading health and beauty retailer and one of the largest private sector employers in the country, we know that we have an important role to play in helping women through the menopause.”

“The work we have done over the last year has focused on opening conversations, as well as offering practical support to our team members and customers. I am really proud that this work has been recognised by GenM, and I’d like to thank our partners and our team members for their commitment to improving women’s experience of the menopause. We have a lot more planned this year, so watch this space.”
