Lorna MacPherson, Store Manager, Boots UK, said “We understand that our customers love exciting new brands, particularly in beauty; which is why we’re thrilled to be offering our customers in Port Glasgow one of our best ranges of cosmetics and luxury beauty and bathing products. And with Christmas around the corner, we are arriving just in time for customers to explore our wonderful new range of Christmas gifts and benefit from our famous 3 for 2 offer. Our expert colleagues will be on hand to advise on all the latest beauty trends, and also help customers to find that perfect present!

“At Boots UK we have over 40 years of healthcare and beauty experience here in Inverclyde and are excited for the regeneration of the area. We are delighted to expand our store offering and look forward to helping our customers in Port Glasgow feel good for many years to come.”

The new store will include a dedicated healthcare area, offering the local community convenient access to a range of healthcare solutions, including a choice of products and range of services such as Smoking Cessation and Hair Retention. The new store will also create roles for over 20 new employees in the area, reaffirming Boots commitment to the people and regeneration of Port Glasgow.

Alastair Dickie, Development Director at Ediston, who run the Clydebuilt LP and own the Retail Park, commented: “We wish Boots a very successful opening and welcome to its new location at Inverclyde’s premier retailing location.  They are an excellent addition to the current retail park line up and investment. The store will further enhance the existing retail line up with Next shortly to follow.  The retail park is becoming a great asset to the local area and contributor to the economy.”

At the new 4,360 sqft store customers will have access to a modern beauty space with self-selection branded cosmetics including Sleek MakeUP, Essie, Max Factor, L'Oreal, Revlon, Collection, BarryM, Rimmel, Maybelline and Bourjois. It will also offer beauty and luxury bathing products that are only available at Boots UK, and Boots own brands such as Soap and Glory and No7.
